AiInbox’s “Custom Attributes” feature allows you to create and manage custom fields for collecting and organizing information in your contact and company profiles, tailored to your unique data requirements.

This flexibility lets you customize contact and company information collection to meet your specific needs, whether it’s contact details, preferences, or other business-relevant data.

Create a Custom Field

Steps to create a field for Contacts:

1- Navigate to Custom Attributes under Settings and click on +Create an Attribute.

2- When adding a custom attribute for a Contact, you’ll need to provide the following details:

  • Attribute Name: Choose a name for the custom attribute to ensure it is easily identifiable across AiInbox (up to 50 characters).

  • Attribute Description: Add a brief description or guidance to help users input the correct information.

  • Attribute Type: Select the attribute type, such as text, number, or date, to match the data you need to collect and organize contacts effectively.

Text

Stores brief information such as a name or address. For example: First Name (e.g., John).

Number

Accepts numerical values, typically used for quantities or measurements. For example: Age.

Single Select

Provides a dropdown menu with predefined options. For example: Subscription Plan.
